Greetings from OHSD …

Dr. Kari MillerKari Miller, PhDDirector, OHSD

Howard University has a long tradition, rich history and proud legacy of critical inquiry and intellectual engagement in all of our fields of academic study. The Office of Honors and Scholar Development (OHSD) seeks to promote, encourage and support an undergraduate community of critical thinkers, active learners and global scholars committed to Howard University’s mission to develop solutions to human problems in the U.S. and throughout the world.

We encourage all students to access our website resources to learn more about national and international fellowships, undergraduate research opportunities and information on selection criteria for university honors programs and national honor societies. In addition, we hope that students will take advantage of interdisciplinary programming developed by our HU faculty and student honors council.

Thank you for your interest in OHSD, and we look forward to working with you as you grow and develop to be part of the next generation of Howard University high achievers and scholars.

Sincerely,
Kari D. Miller
