OUS: Street Team Application

OUS Street Team members are responsible for increasing visibility of the office through promotional events, social media and marketing campaigns. The Street Team will work with OUS staff members and other Howard University students to plan and implement programs.

OUS Street Team applications are due by Tue, Feb 10, 2015.

Criteria for Street Team Applicants

Students interested in being a member of the Street Team should have:

  • A minimum GPA of 2.50
  • Experience planning events
  • A flexible schedule
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service experience

Students should also be:

  • Outgoing and comfortable interacting with others
  • Able to work within a team
  • Creative
  • Attentive to details
  • Able to follow instructions

*A background in promotions and/or marketing is encouraged but not required.

Online Application

Students should complete an application form, submit an updated resume, and include a personal statement of at least 200 words addressing why you want to be a member of the street team and how it fits into your future goals.
